On the back porch of our house.

After 3 full days of snow it finally began to accumulate on 3/30/07

Back porch

Within 2 hours the snow piled up fast.

The front porch

It is still snowing as the light faded into darkness.

Side yard

The bird feeder becomes shorter and shorter as the snow gets deeper and deeper.

Morning of March 31st

At first light on the morning of the 31st we observed a winter wonderland through our screen windows.

The table on the porch is now heavy laden.

The snow on the front porch railing forms a wave.

The wheel barrow and pump is buried.

Christmas and Dawn go exploring and cut a trail.

So is the Element.

Carter Mountain range

The ice sickles point to the Carter Mountain range.

With every step there is more beauty...

Then we go to the back.

The back porch is almost buried also.

Rabbit hole

A rabbit dug its way out and decided to go back under the porch.

The pond

The pond is frozen, which means no access to the fish!

Scott

Scott can't fish...Oh, My!

Scott's Element

He has to get out of here! He must go fish!

Pristene no more

He uses the Element to plow the drive.

McCollough Peaks to the east.

Only the wild horse can plow this mountain.
