A Guide to Pages:

Come on a Cody, Wyoming fly fishing adventure of a life time with us at Eastgate Anglers, located 50 miles east of Yellowstone National Park in Cody, Wyoming.  Eastgate Anglers offers guided fly fishing adventures on the Shoshone River, including the North Fork and South Fork of the Shoshone, the Greybull and the Clarks Fork of the Yellowstone.  Guided fly fishing walk wade and float trips are available.  Trout length average 13 to 15 inches, with many larger fish waiting to be caught.  Newton Lake and Luce Lake, just outside of Cody, Wyoming, are also used for tube fishing and walk wades.  These crystal clear lakes are known for their 4-5 pound trout over 20 inches.  Our guided fly fishing adventures east of Yellowstone Park offer some of the least crowded fly fishing opportunities in Wyoming throughout the year.

Cody, Wyoming and the Yellowstone area is known as the land of extremes.  Fly fishing is no different- the numbers of fish are extreme, there are an extreme number of areas to fish, the size of the fish are extremely large and the landscape extremely beautiful.  With all these factors in mind explore our website thoroughly and plan for a memorable vacation adventure with Eastgate Anglers in Cody, Wyoming and the Yellowstone area.

This website will guide you through everything you need to know to plan your fly fishing trip.  The guide section will introduce you to the owner/operator of Eastgate Anglers.  Looking at the rivers and lakes page will describe the fly fishing waters, the terrain, and for what the rivers are best known.   The type of fly fishing trips available and the cost can be found by clicking on the page named Trips.  The equipment section will describe what you will need for your trip and explain what Eastgate Anglers will provide.  Eastgate Anglers also provides information on the flies that are currently working and the materials needed to tie your own.  This information is updated quarterly or as needed.  Look for the Flies to Tie pictures and information located on the equipment page.

If you have questions or would like to reserve a fly fishing trip with Eastgate Anglers, click on the reservations and contact page.  A reservations form can be found on this page for quick easy reservations.  If fishing rather than computers are more your speed, Eastgate Anglers has included their phone number, address and contact information at the top of each page.

The Scrapbook section presents some of the incredible pictures of the possible fish you could be catching if you book a reservation with Eastgate Anglers!   Starting summer 2002 we will include pictures of your trip on a daily basis, so friends back home can see how much fun you are having!

Eastgate Anglers will have quarterly newsletters available on their Website. The Newsletter section will guide you to current and back issues.

Finally, the Travel Planning page will give you much needed information for completing your fly fishing travel plans.  Links to the Cody, Wyoming Chamber of Commerce,  hotels, transportation, equipment rental, and even suggested places to see and do while visiting Cody are listed in this section.  If you plan on bringing your wife and/or family this will be a helpful section.  But hey!  We believe that fly fishing is a family affair so we encourage everyone to give it a try.
