Guide to Pages: Come on a Cody, Wyoming fly fishing adventure of a life time with us
at Eastgate Anglers, located 50 miles east of Yellowstone National Park in
Cody,
Wyoming. Eastgate Anglers offers guided fly fishing adventures on the Shoshone River, including
the North Fork and South Fork of the Shoshone, the Greybull, the Bighorn
in Wyoming, and the Clarks
Fork of the Yellowstone. Guided fly fishing walk wade and float trips are available. Trout length average 13 to 15 inches, with many larger fish waiting
to be caught. Newton Lake and Luce Lake, just outside of Cody,
Wyoming, are also used for float tube
fishing and walk wades. These crystal clear lakes are known for
their 2 to 3 pound trout over 20 inches. Our guided fly fishing
adventures east of Yellowstone Park offer some of the least crowded fly
fishing opportunities in Wyoming throughout the year.
A couple reasons that Eastgate Anglers is the better
choice!
#1. As a single independent guide you will go to the
absolute best fishing spot on any given day. Since we don't run a bunch of
guides you will never be low man on the totem pole and have to be spread
out on area waters. You will fish with the best guide, in the best water suited to your needs and
expectations everyday. We will pick you up at your door step and if you are an early riser we can be on the water 2
hours before anyone else even opens their shop. If the fish are biting late we use our discretion
as to when it is time to go! #2.
Eastgate Anglers has the absolute best lunches on guided trips in Cody.
Since we don't have the overhead of a fly shop we can afford to provide
you with much better
food on our guided trips. If you have anything special in mind or have
special requirements, just ask, and we will be happy to accommodate! All
our lunches are made fresh the morning of your trip!
#3. All terminal tackle is included in the trip
price! The amount quoted at the beginning of the trip is what you
pay at the end of the day. There is no extra charge for leaders, tippet,
or flies. Most of the flies I like to use are my own patterns that just
work much better in our area waters than store bought flies! We won't
nickel and dime you to death with extras!
#4. Our energy efficient, environmentally
friendly vehicles give us a greater range of waters to fish while riding
in style. If a local water is blown out we can afford to take you to water
that is in good shape and still have a great adventure. We use Honda
Elements, touted "The wave of the future." These vehicles are the perfect
fishing machine. There is never any extra gas charge!
#5. We use only top notch equipment. Bamboo,
Sage, Winston, and Hardy rods. Sage, Hatch, Hardy, and Tibor reels. We use Avon
rafts with padded seats and stand-up platforms for your casting comfort.
We use Bucks Bags pontoons and Outcast float tubes for rivers and lakes.
We strive to provide you with the safest most comfortable state of the art
fly fishing equipment available today. All our gear is always clean and
well maintained. With all these factors in mind explore our
website thoroughly and plan for a memorable vacation adventure with Eastgate Anglers in Cody, Wyoming and the Yellowstone area. This website will guide
